Alhamdulillah, the Assalam Santri Vegetable Garden has become an important role model in efforts to shape the work ethic and environmental awareness of the santri. This project not only teaches agriculture, but also incorporates religious values that encourage natural and social responsibility.
The students here not only learn techniques for planting and caring for plants efficiently, but also understand the importance of organic farming to maintain environmental sustainability. The high quality vegetable harvests from this garden also provide a significant economic contribution to the Islamic boarding school.
Santri Assalam's vegetable garden is concrete evidence of how religious education, work ethic, and environmental awareness can be combined to form a young generation who is knowledgeable and cares about preserving the natural environment. Hopefully this project will continue to inspire other educational institutions to pursue similar goals.
