In the spirit of preparing for the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, the Assalam Islamic Boarding School held special activities on the night of Nisfu Sya'ban. The atmosphere of the mosque was filled with the chanting of the holy verses of the Koran when all the students and ustadz gathered to take part in the reading of the Yasin letter and prayers led by Mbah Yai Arief Heri Setyawan, the leader and caretaker of the Assalam Islamic Boarding School.
This togetherness not only strengthens the bonds between Islamic boarding school residents, but also strengthens belief in the power of prayer in achieving His approval. May the spiritual light radiating from this night be a guide in carrying out worship with burning enthusiasm until the time comes to welcome the holy month of Ramadan.
