The community planting activity in the garden of the Assalam Islamic Boarding School was the main highlight, colored by the high enthusiasm of the students who were directly involved in every step of the planting process. This activity received direct support and participation from one of Assalam's donors, namely Mr. Isdiyanto from Jakarta.
Mr. Isdiyanto was present with the aim of getting closer to the educational and character building activities carried out by the Assalam Islamic Boarding School. He also felt the joy and collaborative spirit in this planting activity, while providing motivation to the students.
Not only that, KH. Arief Heri Setyawan, leader and caretaker of the Assalam Islamic Boarding School, also enlivened the activity by going directly to the field, and giving an example that through this activity, we not only grow plants, but also foster the values of life, togetherness and responsibility to the students. .
We hope that the results of this grand planting will not only produce abundant harvests, but will also produce a generation of students who have a work ethic, care for the environment and independence.
